Visualizing a service using 3D software
With the use of SketchUp and Lumion, we visualized the current state and a potential future state of a restaurant, The Flying Monk Noodle Bar.
This was an insightful process that demonstrated the value of visually representing the physical space of a service. Visualizing services in one way or another help align the designers and stakeholders about the nature and the context of the current state of the service as well as the proposed future state.
By visualizing both the current state and the future state, you are able to compare the differences and further understand the value of making improvements to the service experience.
